Irene Suchoza joined Gantt Huberman Architects in 1987 and leads the firm’s interior design practice with a particular emphasis on civic and educational projects. She has developed the department with a holistic approach to interiors, remaining actively engaged in projects from programming through the completing of furniture installation. Her approach ensures that interior systems are a reflection of the physical building spaces, usage intents, and future flexibility. Irene is experienced in upfitting, retrofitting, and refurbishment of existing buildings and spaces to clients who are looking for less expensive alternatives to new construction.

Irene currently co-chairs the Adult Outreach Committee for CREW Charlotte as well as the Programs Committee for the Mooresville and South Iredell Economic Developers Council (MSIEDC).
