Our planning practice has given us the opportunity to solve problems from a broader perspective, thereby connecting transportation, utilities, site terrain, land use and building issues. Our work on college campuses has been prevalent since 1972, beginning with the SC State University Master Plan. Our planning has extended to urban design at the scale of downtown city blocks, including sites for Charlotte’s Transportation Center, Transamerica Square, and the initial plans for North Tryon Street redevelopment in the 1990’s.

We have always understood the importance of planning as a tool that leads to the creation of viable, sustainable, and memorable places.
