Johnson C. Smith University Biddle Memorial Hall Renovations
Charlotte, NC
Biddle Memorial Hall, constructed in 1884, is distinguished by its elegant clock tower and Victorian era architecture. The renovation integrated current technology into its historic fabric, converting the oldest surviving structure on campus into a modern center for administrative services. The renovation was governed by the National Parks Service, Secretary of the Interiors standards, as well as state and local landmarks requirements.
